MLS Takes 2.0 Approach but will it even help
A recent article on Inman news points out how Concentric Software in Roseville, CA has a new MLS product that allows unlimited photos, multi-media, and really enhances the look and feel for real estate professionals and for their clients. Now let me be the first to say that anytime I can get more features for the same money and increase the user experience that is a win. But the number 1 violation in SoCalMLS in southern california is a fine for no photo. That’s right the number 1 fine is literally because agents have not put even a single phot in the MLS listing after the first 14 days.
So the real question is will more real estate professionals use the features in this software? Why don’t real estate professionals put pictures up and what will it take to get them to use these new features? What are your thoughts?
