Google Split Tests & So Should You
In a recent article on CNET We’re all guinea pigs in Google’s search experiment Google talks about how they run different versions of the Google Search page. They are effectively split testing, running two different versions of the same page to see which one works better.
This strategy may sound strange to some in real estate but it is a long held theory in direct response marketing that running two different versions of the same ad will allow you to figure out which one works better. In fact the more you do this the faster you find out which is the BEST ad, page, or advertising piece you are running. You let the public, your customers, be the judge and jury.
So how can you use this in your real estate business? You can use this everywhere if you really want to have the best results. Try it:
- In your Google ads - Always run two ads every time
- In your landing pages - Test different versions with ads
- For your print ads
- Even try different voicemail messages
The key is to keep testing. We have literally tried thousands of different combinations of ads, pages, messages, and forms on our website. The key is to find what works in the shortest amount of time.
A great system at www.RealEstateSEOSystem.comshows you how to cut down your time dramatically and improve your results.
