Why would we be speaking about a specific way to increase one areas websites or blogs? Well we happen to be in Santa Cruz, CA today and in Carmel as well. So let’s look at some ways to improve your Santa Cruz real estate website or your Carmel website or real estate blog.

  • Use pictures- I know many of you are saying “But I have to get found first”. We will get to that. I did a few searches on phrases like “Santa Cruz Real Estate” and I have to say I was disappointed in the results. Some articles (and some Google Ads) but not much in what I would call websites that are going to capture visitors. This is some of the most beautiful country around so take advantage of it.
  • Go after some words that someone like me who doesn’t know the area will type.
    • Santa Cruz Real Estate
    • Santa Cruz Homes (almost 1.4 million results on this one) - even realtor.com is advertising on it.
    • Carmel Homes - by the way there are ads showing “Monterey” for the word Carmel. I know they are close but they should be different ads.
    • Carmel Real Estate - Only big companies really and lots of Monterey information showing up.
    • One of the top organic results for Carmel was for Carmel Indiana so there is room to move up.
  • Create content about YOUR area or niche- I couldn’t really find neighborhood information. I could find listings on Trulia and sites like that through the Google results but one of the top listings
