Must Read Books for Success Online
Learning the latest techniques for marketing your real estate blog and website should be fun. We know your time is valuable which is why we boil down the techniques into straight forward posts.
Have you ever wondered what we read to share this information? We do participate in blogs across the blogosphere, but we also do some traditional reading. I know, crazy, actual books! Here are some of the books that we have read lately that you might want to check out as well to deepen your online marketing skills.
Title: ProBlogger: Secrets for Blogging Your Way to a Six-Figure Income
Summary: This was a recommendation I actually picked up from CopyBlogger. I have to admit it is right on. For those who are familiar with blogging I would recommend starting at chapter 5. It has an angle that is more towards information blogs, but the techniques of networking and publicizing are still very accurate for real estate blogs.
Title: Landing Page Optimization: The Definitive Guide to Testing and Tuning for Conversions
Summary: This one starts out a little tough with some some heavy anlaytical concepts on thinking about your consumer. Once you get past that though you get into some meaty items about how to make each and every page on your website a serious lead producing machine. Focusing on the individual page level will dramatically increase your lead count. We have a page on one of our Long Beach websites that has generated over $96,000 in commissions! Using the techniques in this book you will see some great results, just give yourself some time to test each idea.
These are some fun books where you can get really practical items to apply to your website and blog. I usually just focus on one book at a time so I can get the most out of it. Testing ideas from different chapters is a neat way to apply your learning.
If you have heard of a book that has really helped you, let us know by dropping us a comment so we can share it with the entire community.
