Google AdwordsWhen you are writing ads for Google Adwords or really any advertising platform you want to think like the person who is looking for information. In other words put yourself in your clients shoes before they knew you. Think about what is going through their mind. Think only about them and their needs. This is the mindset that will allow you to write ads that are effective and will bring you the clients that you want. Remember when you pay for every click you only want to attract clients that are motivated to use you for the right reasons.

Let’s look at some steps to take to create ads that will get clicked on for the right reasons.

Ask yourself the following questions:

  • What is my next client really looking for?
  • What information do they want?
  • What would compell them to visit my website or blog?

Your Answers to the Above Questions Should Never Be:

  • Me
  • My Brokerage
  • My 3 color brochure
  • My excellent service
  • My honesty
  • My integrity

People aren’t thinking about you they are thinking about them. They need information and they need it at their finger tips. They also want as much information for free as possible and the more the merrier. So make sure you give it to them.

How do you do this in a short tiny ad that only gives you 25,35,35, and 35 characters to work with? Well you do it short, sweet, and to the point without a lot of fluff.
