My brother and I continue to test ads on Craigslist and find the best processes that work most effectively. We have uncovered a number of items that make Craigslist a great place to generate leads provided that you are following a repeatable pattern.
One of our lastest discoveries is using Craigslist to generate massive attendance to an open house that you are having in an area. This isn’t something we guessed at but tested to make sure that we could get attendance to different open houses in different areas of the country.
Agents were reporting that attendance to their open houses increased by as much as 67% in some cases and more importantly they were getting buyers who wanted and needed their help to find a home as they were just tired of using Craigslist to find information and were happy to find an agent to help them.
